mussurunga - that is the name which is used by the complete body inked cousins sigi aigner and didi bruckmayr for their outstanding performances on club dance-parties, festivals, free-parties and weddings in the home- and foreign-countries since more than two years. at their shows they use deep bass-lines, demanding beats, gentle hooklines and raging 3-d objects. the large sized mr. state-opera-chorister aigner and the dwarfish universal-bush-leaguer dr. bruckmayr also are known for their benedictional work with the performance-group fuckhead, for them they count as finded minds. mussurunga is a frowing suburb of the brazilian provincial capital salvador da bahia, which aigner and bruckmay vistied job related. while one of them waited without success for a date in mussurunga and spent all the spondulix which was meant for the taxi, the other one worked very hard in the regional beach-bars on artistic concepts. the result of this jobshare is, among other things, the present ep.

following on from a pair of extended players released in 2011 (passed me by / we stay together), andy stott returns to modern love with luxury problems, an 8 track album of new material recorded over the last 12 months. five of the tracks on the album feature the voice of alison skidmore, andys onetime piano teacher whom he hadnt seen since he was a teenager back in 1996. there was no grand gesture in mind, it just sort of happened – but after almost a year of studio work the result is really quite unlike anything you will have heard from him before.
